Why we built this section

Collectors and gift buyers search for a person, not for a product: “Brian May signed photo”, “Messi signed shirt”, “Tom Baker autograph”. On a general marketplace those searches mix genuine items, reproductions and unrelated listings, and the useful ones are buried.

So instead of one thin page per search phrase, each personality gets one page. It gathers everything currently listed for that name, and splits it into sections only where there really is something to show: a name with photos and books gets those two sections, a footballer with only shirts gets just shirts.

Who it is for

1

Collectors

See in one place what is on sale for a name, from affordable photos to high-end pieces, and compare prices across sellers.

2

Gift buyers

Fans buying for a fan: pick the type of item (photo, shirt, vinyl) and the budget, and ignore the rest.

3

Careful buyers

Items with a certificate of authenticity or third-party authentication are flagged so you can start with them.

Our editorial choices

  • ✓We only list names with a real choice of items: a personality appears here once at least 12 live listings match.
  • ✓We keep Buy It Now listings priced from £100 up. Below that price the market is dominated by pre-printed prints and low-value items, and the page becomes noise.
  • ✓Listings come from eBay and are refreshed about once a day, so a sold item can still appear for a few hours.
  • ✓We do not authenticate anything. A badge means the seller mentions a certificate or an authentication service in the title, nothing more (see “How we sort & what “certified” means” on each page).

How to search this section

  1. 1Type a name in the box above, or browse by group (music, football, TV & film).
  2. 2On a personality page, use the type buttons to jump to photos, shirts, guitars, vinyl, books or posters.
  3. 3Tick “certified only” to hide listings that do not mention a certificate or authentication.
  4. 4Sort by price to find the cheapest or the most prestigious pieces, then open the listing on eBay to read the seller’s photos, description and returns policy.

Quick answers

Are these items genuine?▾

We cannot guarantee it. Autograph forgeries exist, so check the certificate, ask the seller for proof photos and read the returns policy before buying. Our “certified” filter only helps you prioritise.

What does it cost to use?▾

Nothing. If you buy after clicking a link, eBay pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change the price or the order of the listings.

How are the names chosen?▾

By availability: names with enough live listings and a real range of items. Names are added over time.
